This was the case that failed to settle, which I mentioned earlier. It was also the only one in which the complainant insisted on punishment: he wanted the officer terminated — or, at least, docked a month's pay — for having, he claimed, addressed him disrespectfully. For some reason, the man's mental health problems went unnoticed until the session.
